Great Day Of Service

"Goose' & I spent the morning with some of our fellow church members participating in "Our Great Day Of Service". Our project was "Storm Drain Stenciling" one of the local neighborhoods. The morning started out early with a 7:15 am check in at the church. "Goose" and I were charged with placing doorhangers throughout the neighborhood educating the residents about pesticide and chemical runoff in the neighborhood, the other part of the group was in charge of stenciling the storm drains to let the residents know that these storm drains feed into local creeks and rivers. When I saw the spray paint I was the first to utter the phase "Christian Graffiti Artists". All in all after a very cool morning start it turned out to be a rather productive day.
